Our Story

 I LOVED my job. I made good money, I had a great boss who trusted me and let me organize my department however I wanted, and above all, I felt secure.

But every once in awhile I would wake up with a feeling of dread that I would die in that cozy chair inside my office along with all of my pushed aside dreams. I have a lot of dreams. And it took a long time, but finally I was more afraid of staying in that chair than I was of jumping into the unknown and really going for it.

If there's one thing I knew, it's that I always get up when I fall down. I'm not a quitter and I'm not a sinker. I would do whatever it takes to win. That is all I really knew at that moment. And honestly, I'd never felt more right about anything.

Hi, I'm Starcia and this is my story that lead me to be the creator of Stay Vibrant Candles. I know I'm not the only one afraid to jump for one reason or another. We all have our reasons. Maybe I can inspire a few along the way to follow their heart and create a life they love.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about the brand I want to create. What message do I want to send to the world? How can I bring value to people in a way I feel good about?

It's easy to get sucked into positive message posting and to make life look bright and shiny. But the truth is we all have our struggles and life is not always that way. I have plenty of bad days myself and when I do, I recognize it and cut myself some slack and do what I need to do to put myself in a better headspace. I know on these days the last thing I want to hear is Positive Polly messages. What makes me feel better is a listening ear and someone telling me I can get through this.

I want to make people feel like they aren't alone in these moments. If you put in the work and take charge of your mindset and your environment, where you are now is not where you need to end up.

Stay Vibrant does not mean "Good Vibes Only." It means "I get up when I fall down. I take responsibility for how my life turns out. I will rise above my struggles and find a way to the good stuff."

My goal is to put effort into bringing a little light into the world. I want every candle to be a reminder to each friend who receives it, to Stay Vibrant.
